Julia Casimier Beed departed this life on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Jo Ellen Smith Convalescent Center. She was retired from the Housing & Urban Development after 34 years of service as a loan specialist. Beloved wife of Billie E. Beed. Daughter of the late James and Julia Casimer. Sister of James, Joseph, Ronald, Kenneth and Larry Casimier, Caroline Lewis, Daisy Rogers ,and the late Louis Casimier, Sr., her twin. Sister in law of Cornell Rogers, James Young, Lloyd Lewis, Curtis, William, Kenneth, Robert and Bobbie Beed, Jean, Bessie and Shirlyn Casimier, Mary Young and Jesse Mae Beed. Godmother of Travis Lewis, DeShawn Rogers, and the late Cornell Dejon Rogers Jr. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Age: 66 years, a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Terrytown, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of St. Paul Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service from St. Paul Baptist Church, 1519 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Saturday October 14, 2017 at 10:00 A.M.
