Kim Weathers

Kim Silbernagel Weathers of Harahan, LA, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018. Beloved wife of Terry E. Weathers and loving mother of Leigh Ann Weathers. Preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Yvonne M. Silbernagel and her daughter Hope Layne Weathers-who never left heaven for Earth. Kim is survived by her brother David Silbernagel, sister-in-law Gail Silbernagel, her nephew Drew Silbernagel, niece Kate Silbernagel, as well as other relatives, and especially our many dear friends whom we all have considered part of our family. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Harahan, Kim previously resided in Houston, TX and Ballwin, MO. Kim was a graduate of John Curtis Christian School and LSU. Kim was an avid LSU and Saints fan and loved getting together with friends and family to cheer on her teams. Kim attended the Fourth Church of Christ Scientist in New Orleans. Kim was a kind, generous and loyal friend and will be infinitely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. Kim continues to bless us with her example of true womanhood. Although Kim's material body has seemingly left us, her qualities of motherhood, unconditional love, and uncontainable joy remain with us forever. Kim knew that this world was not conclusion. A celebration of Life will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank David, Denise, Dianna, and Cindy for their loving effort and support these past few months.
