Lawrence E. McNulty

FREMONT: Lawrence E. McNulty, 74, of Fremont, passed away at Bethesda Care Center, Saturday, January 11, 2014. He was born May, 27, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio, to Owen and Mary Margaret (Regan) McNulty.

Lawrence attended Clay High School, and was a train engineer for C&0 Railroad and later a truck driver for Bulkmatic. Lawrence was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, loved his family, especially his grandchildren, his job, NASCAR, enjoyed camping, and was an OSU fan.

He married Beverly Hendricks on May 23, 1987 in Clyde, OH, and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Beverly; Lawrence is survived by children, Rosemarie (Matthew) Harvey, of Luckey, OH, Mike (Allison) McNulty of Luckey, OH, Lawrence (Mary) McNulty, of Sylvania, OH, Tammera (Matthew) Clouse of Alveda, OH, Tracy (John) Bartson of Fremont, OH; siblings, Mary (Len) Hasenfratz of Toledo, OH, Jerry (Betty) McNulty of Point Place, OH, Mike (Kathy) McNulty of Traverse City, MI; 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Owen McNulty.

A memorial service will be held at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services on April 12, 2014 beginning at 2 PM with one hour visitation prior to the service. Rev. David J. Martin, Jr. will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.

I did not know Lawrence well, but visited with him a few times at Bethesda. I prayed with him, and gave him the Eucharist if he was able to understand its importance. My sympathy and prayers for all of you..
