Aleane Chenault Obituary

Aleane Chenault, 86, of Cecilia, died Monday, March 31, 2014, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Thomas Dencil "TD" Chenault; a son, Jerry Len Chenault; her parents, Dewey and Alice Highbaugh; and two brothers, Maynard and Dempsey Highbaugh.

Aleane is survived by two sons, Larry and his wife, June and Paul and his wife, Darlene; five grandchildren, Laura (Dennis) Davis, Amanda (Nathan) Brown, Jeannie Chenault, Tina Clark and Jerry Chenault; nine great-grandchildren, Caleb Davis, Matthew Davis, Kaycee Brown, Brandy Eastwood, Corey Eastwood, Justin (Jessie) Leasor, Becca (Jerry) Finch, Brittany Chenault and JT Chenault; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn (Earl) Harper; and four brothers, Walter, James, George (Virginia) and Tooter (Carolyn) Highbaugh.

It was Aleane's wish to be cremated and not to have public services. A private memorial service will be held for the family at a later date.

Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
