Cathy Reas Obituary
She was born Jan. 14, 1954, in LaRue County to Marvin and Charline Lawson Akins.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Gary Reas; children Kelly (Bob) McManus and Aaron (Natasha) Reas and three beautiful granddaughters, Zoey, Olivia and Molly Reas. Other survivors include her mother, Charline Akins; sisters, Cindy (Rick) Linder and Christy (Tom) Bennett; and brother, Mark Akins. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also cherish her memory.
Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Akins.
A memorial service is at noon Saturday, Nov. 29, at White Mills Christian Church. A funeral was held Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Hunstville First Baptist Church with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Alabama.

Cathy, Cindy, Christie and Mark were the best neighbors a family of country kids could have. We always hung out together, playing ball in their front yard, riding bicycles, putting on plays, and trying to not get into too much mischief. We know that Cathy will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. We're all thinking about and offering prayers of support for the survivors. God bless you all!
