Charlie and I were best buddies for awhile in those few years in high school and before he went into the army. We lost touch as I moved away, first to UK, then Vietnam, eventually ending up in Indiana. My mom and dad liked Charlie a lot. My sister, Margaret, remembers him. I am sad now that he's gone. I should have reached out to rekindle our friendship. He has been in my thoughts all these years. He was a true friend.
