Dianne Marie Tustin, 65, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

Dianne retired from the Fort Knox Commissary, where she had spent so many years doing what she loved, customer service. She never knew a stranger and was so helpful to many. She had so many friends and customers who looked for her smile each day. She loved spending time with her grandbabies and spoiling them every chance she got. They were her world and she was so proud to be their grandma. She was loved by so many and she valued all of the friendships that she had made over the years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Laurier Caron; her mother, June Caron; and a sister, Bonnie Beurrier.

She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Skillman; a son, Christopher (Angela) Ard; a stepson, Charles Tustin Jr.; three grandchildren, Jaxon and Olivia Skillman, and Kyle Matthews; two sisters, Shelby (Alan) Newbrough and Jayree Caron; and her caregiver, Anna Ard.

A memorial service is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove with Pastor Richard Martin officiating.

A time of gathering is from 4 p.m. until time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Kentucky Humane Society.

So sorry to hear the news. Dianne worked with me at the commissary for many years and when I was her supervisor we worked together in the cash office. So many happy memories of our years there. She was so hard working and helpful to our fellow employees and customers. She was loved by all she will truly be missed. May her soul through the mercy of God Rest In Peace.
