Dixie Lambert Obituary
She was a member of Ridge Springs United Methodist Church and was overseer of Rineyville Project Outreach. She was a hairdresser for 34 years and was an instructor at the Elizabethtown Beauty School.
She was preceded in death by a husbands, Gary Hill Adams and J.D. Lambert; and her parents, Harry and Anna Applegate.
She is survived by a daughter, Regina Lynn Mudd of Rineyville; a son, Cory Hill Adams and his wife, Teresa M. Adams of Cecilia; two granddaughters, Skylar Kathleen Wooden and Caitlyn Sue Adams; two stepgrandchildren, Dakota Perry French and Shelby Lynn French; and a brother, Harry Thomas Applegate of Pell City, Alabama.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with the Rev. Bill Rounsaville officiating. Burial follows in Hardin Memorial Park in Elizabethtown.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of toys, dropped at the funeral home to be donated to Toys for Tots.

Ronnie and I are sorry to hear of the passing of Dixie. We went to Rineyville School with her. She was always funny, out going, gregarious, and lit up the room. Our sympathies to her family.
