Dorothy Morse Obituary
Mrs. Morse retired as a attendance clerk from North Hardin High School in Radcliff and also worked at Farmers Bank in Vine Grove for many years. She was an avid University of Kentucky fan. Some of her hobbies included playing golf, bowling and being at the lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Morse Sr.; a son, Ricky Morse; a granddaughter, Christy Lee; two brothers, Estle Vowels and Tommy Vowels; and two sisters, Shirley Lingo and Dixie Smith.
Mrs. Morse is survived by three sons, Danny Morse and his wife, Debbie of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Jimmy Morse of Irvington and Corky Morse and his wife, Nancy of Radcliff; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Netto, Ricky Morse III (Alex), Russell Morse, Ryne Morse, Quinn Morse and Gunnar Morse; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Patty Sims; close friends, Patsy Crutcher and Timmy Roberts; and a host of extended family friends.
A visitation to celebrate the life of Mrs. Morse is from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to UK Markey Cancer Center, P.O. Box 34184, Lexington KY 40588 or Hospice of Central Kentucky, P.O. Box 2149, Elizabethtown KY 42702.

Dot was a wonderful patient of mine as well as a beloved cousin.
She had a full life and fooled many doctors by continuing to "beat" multiple serious health issues over the past several decades. She was a fighter and her positive attitude and her trust in the Lord I feel were instrumental in her long full life. She will be missed by many friends and family but leaves a legacy that has impacted many hearts. My deepest sympathy to Danny, Jimmy and all the family.
