Edwin Hawkins Obituary
He was born in Louisville to Earl Hawkins and Mary Randols. He was an U.S. Army veteran.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Hawkins; a sister, Jerlene "Jerri" Hall; and his father-in-law, Franklin E. Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly M. Hawkins of Radcliff; three daughters, Mary D. Scharf of South Carolina, Peggy Ann Pulido of San Diego, California and Peggy Michelle Smith of Illinois; four sisters, Beverly Benningfield of Elizabethtown, Evelyn Cameron of Elizabethtown, Charlotte Hamm of North Carolina and Connie Compton of Indiana; his mother-in-law, Peggy E. Smith of Illinois; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Doris Randols officiating. Burial follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff with full military honors.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
