Jasmine Gordon Obituary
She is survived by her parents Sonya Brown (Timothy), Jason Gordon and Keemah Gordon; siblings, NeShaun, Joey and Jaylen Gordon, Alexis and Timothy Brown Jr.; grandparents, Arthur and Paula Jackson and George and Peggy Brown.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miracle Temple of Deliverance, 2208 Dixie Highway, Louisville, with interment in Green Meadows Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the church. Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons Funeral Home, 951 S. Preston St., Louisville, is in charge of arrangements.

A Poem for Jasmine

An Angel spread her wings today
She inhaled grace and exhaled glory, and flew away.
Her assignment here on earth was done; her suffering expired.
She was promoted to a higher position, as an Angel, in heaven she was hired.
We love and already miss you Jazzy-Pooh,
No one could ever take the place of you.
Your smile, laughter, love, and beautiful face
Could bring life and light into the darkest place.
You leaving so soon, we don't understand; and the pain beckons to ask Why?'
As our hearts break, our life quakes, and our eyes begin to cry.
But as the selfishness disappears, we think it over and discover we gain;
You have gone ahead, where we are trying to get, and for you, there's no more pain.
So soar angelic one; spread your wings and fly.
Enjoy the heavenly sights; no detours on this heavenly flight.
Peace for you now is beyond the clouds; and now you're heavens star.
