Jean Logsdon Obituary
She retired from the Hardin County Circuit Court and was a devoted member of Memorial Methodist Church, where she faithfully served for many years.
Jean will be remembered for her kind heart, joyful spirit and the love she shared so freely with everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Geneva Logsdon; her brother, Phillip Logsdon; her two sisters, Louise Wilcox and Joyce Watkins; two nieces, Andrea Wilcox and Sherrie Bridges; and a nephew, Dale Watkins.
Jean is survived by her sister, Mildred Hodges of Elizabethtown; several beloved nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows in Hardin Memorial Park in Elizabethtown.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

I worked under Jean Logsdon at the Radcliff Courthouse as one of her Deputy court clerks from 1997-2004. She always had a smile for everyone an was so pleasant to work with. Very few people ever left there with their issues unresolved, we always put our heads together to get them the answers they needed & we worked great as a team. She was a great supervisor an taught me alot when I first started working with her. She will missed & remembered by many. My condolences to the family for her passing. She was such a sweet, kind soul. Keeping you all lifted in my thoughts and prayers.

Jean Logsdon was a kind and dear lady who I liked very much. I got to know Jean @Memorial UMC while serving together on the Bereavement Meals Committee. She was a dedicated church member and a delight to know. I am sorry to hear of her passing.

Thirty-five years ago, as a new attorney, I relied on Jean Logsdon at the Radcliff branch, where she served as head deputy clerk. Jean was a problem solver-often direct, yet always pleasant and helpful. She worked alongside you to fix issues and ensure filings were right, keeping everything moving smoothly. Jean´s steady guidance and genuine kindness made all the difference at the start of my career, and her influence is warmly remembered.
