Karl Hawkins Obituary
He was born Jan. 28, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Walter Earl Hawkins Sr. and Ruth Wright Hawkins.
Karl loved woodworking, staining and shooting guns, which included hunting. He enjoyed being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Walter Hawkins Jr.; and two sisters, Deanna Bush and Brenda Walker.
Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Kay Foster Hawkins; a son, Karl Stephen Hawkins and his wife, Julie Ann; a daughter, Carla Ashcraft and her husband, Johnny; three sisters, Polly Muto, Sandra Manicuso and Ellen Sefchick; five grandsons, Alex, Zach, Awston, Tyler and Dylan; and eight great-grandchildren, Gabby, Karl Payne, Kynsler, Madison, Jensen, Gunner, Jessie Ann and Dane.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. and continues at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
