Michael Glover Sr. Obituary
Michael Lee Glover Sr., 57, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at his home.
He was a native of Tompkinsville and was a painter. He loved his family and making people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Jean Gillenwater Glover.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Melynda G. Glover; a son, Michael Lee Glover Jr. of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Brigitte (Eric) Delaney of Charlestown, Indiana; two stepdaughters, Amber (Elijah) Lessig of Pekin, Indiana, and Autumn Willinger of Jeffersonville, Indiana; his father, Lonnie Glover of Louisville; one brother, Jimmy Glover of Indiana; three sisters, Judy Foster and Debbie Hobbs, both of Louisville, and Beverly Hack of Madisonville; and nine grandchildren, Austin Delaney, Kristen Delaney, Mia Lessig, Ethan Delaney, Kyron Woodley, Layla Lessig, Caleb Lonnie Glover, Kaniyah Woodley and Erica Wilkerson.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows in St. James Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Melynda (Mindy), this is Lynnette (Lynnie), You have been in my thoughts & prayers since I heard the news.....please know I am with you in your heart......I so wanted to be there for the service but I have a fever, and when I make the trip I want to go see all our aunts & uncles (including your mom) & don't want to pass this on to them........ little you were like my little sister. I have tried so hard 2 get ahold of you. I just sent you a friend request but it is under my husbands name Don Coone...... PLEASE get ahold of me & let me know you are alright. I can't say okay because I know your not....you have lost a BIG part of your life.......my heart bleeds for you...... You were a great guy Glover and left a lot of laughs in the hearts of so many. You would give the shirt off your back to help somebody in need. Mikey and Brigitte are fortunate to have picked up these important qualities from you. Rest easy friend.

Our hearts broken. We love "Rudy" so much. He has been a great friend to us and we will never be the same. He has left his mark on our lives and in our hearts.We will never forget the great times we have had together(Jon Anderson concert)and how he could make anyone laugh.
