Michael Hill Obituary
He was born in Elizabethtown to Chester Hill and Alene Beeler (Charlie) Gardner. He was a mechanic located on Fort Knox working on vehicles ranging from auto to heavy equipment, as well as working on helicopters in the Army for four years.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his loving wife, Anna Hill of Elizabethtown; his mother, Alene Gardner of Elizabethtown; a son, Michael (Allison) Hill of Elizabethtown; four daughters, Ericka Hill of Elizabethtown, Carolynn Goode of Georgetown, Indiana, Shalene Samuel of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Kaitlyn (Cody) Evans of Elizabethtown; a sister, Elizabeth (Mark) Williams of Elizabethtown; and nine grandchildren, Caleb, Landon, Makyna, Memphis, Xander, Logan, Dayton, Matthew and Tatum.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton with Brother Mark Williams officiating. Burial follows in Weldon Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
