Robert Bivens Obituary
He was born Oct. 27, 1966, in Jacksonville, Florida, and was a 1984 graduate of Elizabethtown High School. He loved to fish and loved his dogs. He played baseball from T-ball through high school and was a good pitcher until he injured his shoulder.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Jacob Tilton Bivens.
Randy is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Bob Bivens; his twin sister, Beth A. Throop; two nephews, Collin and Parker Throop; and his faithful companion, Pretzel.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bowling Green.

So sorry for your loss. Randy was active little boy he was a joy to be around. After he grew up when he saw me he always knew me. His smile always lite up his face.

Our hearts are broken upon hearing of Randy's passing. Your family was my 2nd family growing up... and I cherish our wonderful times together. Randy was like another brother to me. He always gave me a big hug and a warm smile every time he saw me... and he also loved to "pick on" me and Beth every time I was at your home... just like brothers do. Randy was always kind and respectful towards me and mom as we grew older... and I never saw him without a smile on his face or cracking jokes. I wish I could turn back time and stayed closer in contact with him and your entire family... one of my biggest regrets. Please know that my heartfelt thoughts and prayers, as well as Mom's, are with you all at this most difficult time. We know that Randy is at peace and no longer suffering. We will miss him immensely, but we'll keep him in our happy memories until we meet again. May God bring comfort, strength and peace to you, Mr. and Mrs. Bivens, Beth, Collin and Parker. We love you.
