Robert B. Gault Jr., 80, of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at The Legacy at English Station in Louisville.
He worked at Dow Corning for 33 1/3 years and was a noted car lover.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert B. Gault Sr. and Mary Evelyn Sanders.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Cecil Gault of Elizabethtown; two sons, John Douglas Gault (Lynne) of Louisville and Timothy Craig Gault of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Robin Gault Curry (Rob) of Louisville; two sisters, Jackie Dobson (John) of Wheatland, Missouri, and Sue Ann Loebig of Louisville; and five grandchildren, Cody, Ellie, Harper, Molly and Afton.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Deacon Jim Cecil officiating. Burial follows in St. John Cemetery in Rineyville.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family requests that masks be worn.
