Robert Dale "Bob" Soult

1932 - 2023

Robert "Bob" Dale Soult, 90, was born Aug. 1, 1932, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, at his home in Radcliff.

He served in the Navy and then retired from the Army as a first sergeant in the 4th Brigade, Company C, 13th Battalion. His career included tours in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He then worked more than 20 years at Coca-Cola. Bob was a member of St. Christopher's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, 3rd and 4th degree. He was an avid fan of the Louisville Cardinals.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Soult, to whom he was married for 59 years.

Survivors include his two sons, David Christopher Soult of Radcliff and Michael Patrick Soult (Allison) of Lexington; and three granddaughters, Megan, Isabelle and Elinor Soult, all of Lexington.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Radcliff. Burial follows in St. Patrick Cemetery on Fort Knox.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff. A prayer service is at 7 p.m. Friday.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Bryan Station High School Band, bshs.band, or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, pancan.org/ in honor of his son, Michael.
