Robert Leon Warford, 86, of Radcliff, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Warford was retired from the U.S. Army. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and Korean Conflict. His memberships included Sand Spring Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg, Anderson Lodge No. 90 F&AM, Lawrenceburg, American Legion, Hardin Post No. 113, Elizabethtown, V.F.W. Post No. 10281, Vine Grove, and D.A.V. Chapter No. 156, Radcliff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollie and Stella Warford; five brothers, Marshall Warford, Hollie Warford Jr., Davis Warford, Lawrence Warford and Walter Warford; and a sister, Jane Spencer.
Survivors include his loving wife, Yukiko Warford; two daughters, Caroline Yuki Caves and Janet Perkins (Denny Wene); six grandchildren, Aaron Caves (Vivian), Ryan Caves (Rachel), Tyler Perkins (Ariel), Breana Kenworthy, Dalton Wene and Garrett Wene; three great-grandchildren, Ayden Caves, Addalynn Caves and Evelyn Caves; two brothers, John Warford and Alton Warford; a sister, Nancy Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life and Masonic service for Mr. Warford is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, in the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove. Burial with full military honors, including a gun salute, follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
