Teresa Gail Davis, 63, of Radcliff, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
She was born Dec. 12, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Ronald and Barbara Walden. She married Henry Davis on Jan. 30, 1976.
They have resided in the Radcliff/Vine Grove area for 30 years. As a military family, they were stationed in various places in Germany and stateside.
Teresa was also a Realtor for Coldwell Banker McMahan and an independent contractor with The News-Enterprise. Teresa enjoyed life and was a people person. She never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone she met. She loved adventures and was up to any challenge put in front of her. She loved to travel and camp. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, her sister, nephews, niece and friends. Teresa's neighbors were her family as well.
They always have been there for each other for support in good times and bad.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William R. and Barbara J. Walden; and a son-in-law, Reshine Young.
Survivors include her loving husband, Henry Davis of Radcliff; one daughter, Betty Young of Louisville; one son, Gary (Kristin) Davis of Louisville; one sister, Rhonda (Gordon) Hurd of Elkhart, Indiana; two nephews, Tony (Kristin) Muir of Goshen, Indiana, and Mike (Kristen) Muir of Goshen, Indiana; one niece, Heather (Dustin) Mark of Elkhart, Indiana; a special great niece and nephews, Kaydon, Carsen, Karlie, Cohen, Carter, Thomas and Ben; extended family members, Sherie Johnson of Radcliff, C'asisa and Amari Young of Lexington. Teresa was loved and will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins as well.
The funeral for Mrs. Davis will be private, according to her wishes. A graveside service the public is invited to attend is at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 10 until 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove. The family requests that everyone keep their visit brief, and adhere to all precautions possible regarding COVID-19.
