Theodore Day Sr. Obituary
He was born in Elizabethtown to Ernest Jr. and Mary (Alford) Day. He worked for Waste Management Service for more than 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Day Jr.
Survivors include his loving mother, Mary Alford Day; two sons, Theodore Wayne Day, II of Sonora and Donavon Waller of Tennessee; three daughters, Rachel M. Lopez of Florida, Brandi Carter of Elizabethtown and Brianna Day of Sonora; four sisters, Lois Day Goodman of Elizabethtown, Rebecca Day Farmer of Hodgenville, Pamela Day Helm of Lexington and Patricia Day Goodwin of Elizabethtown; a brother, Edward Day of Florida; a companion, Gail Day of Sonora; and five grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, with the Rev. Jeff Davis officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitations is from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Not a day goes by that you are not on my mind and weighing on my heart. I miss you so dearly. I listen to your voicemails as its all I have left to be able to hear your voice. I would give anything to hear in person or sit with you even if for 10 minutes. Or even U dream I dreamed all night of being on the farm feeding and working and working on the mustang. I didnt get enough time with you and it isnt fair. I love you so much and miss you more then words could express!!!!!!!
