Walter Brewer Jr. Obituary
He was a driver for Active USA, a former Rineyville fire department member, a former game warden, a member of the North American Fishing Club, a member of the American Legion and was a U.S. Army veteran, where he served as part of the military police. Walter also was a member of New Hope Community Church and was a loving husband and a devoted father.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie Brewer.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Brewer; five sons, Walter Emerson Brewer III, Joshua Thomas Brewer, Todd Michael Brewer, Justin Tyler Brewer and Matthew Emanuel Brewer; a daughter, Delaney Marie Brewer; three brothers, Robert Eugene Brewer, Randy Erik Brewer and Jerry Brewer McCarver; two sisters, Michelle Marie Brewer-Blair and Melissa Lynn Brewer-Bowling (Bill); a grandson, Dakoda Mark Brewer; eight nieces; and eight nephews.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, at New Hope Community Church in Elizabethtown with Pastor Herb Williams officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
