Wayne Dobson Obituary
Wayne retired from General Electric after 39 years of employment.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margarite and Wesley Dobson; a brother, Clell Dobson; a sister, Naoma Bibb; and his wife of 69 years, Pat Wright Dobson.
Survivors include three sons, Tom Dobson of Frankfort, Ted Dobson and Tim (Carla) Dobson, all of Louisville; a daughter, Pamela (Tim) Baete of Louisville; a granddaughter, Caitlin (Christian) Goodan; two stepgrandchildren, Madison Moore and Morgan Whittaker; two great-grandchildren, Max and Charlotte Goodan; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Bennett Moore and Brayden Whittaker.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Mike Walker officiating. Burial follow in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continues at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the local food bank.
