The home of the the Large family really was large...with great children, loving parents and hospitality to friends. We felt like their friends when my parents were buying a new home with the builder across the street on Glenwood. We received Duchess, our family dog from them. Mr. Large, was a man that was hard not to remember now and then. Klaus Collinsworth

I worked with Bill for several years in the Armor School and at Boatwright at Ft. Knox , he will be remembered as a good friend and fellow worker.

My friend if love could have kept you alive you would have never died but as much as we all loved you there is someone who loves you even more than we ever could and now you are in His presence.

I served with Bill in Budingen, Germany. I remember him usually smoking a cigar and singing a song. My deepest sympathy to his wife, Ingrid, and family. I'll remember him always until it's my time to go across the wide river.

What a genuine man. He was always ready to pitch in at the auto shop at Fort Knox; gladly gave Gunther and I a ride home in that LARGE station wagon playing country western on the 8 Track. Wonderful man, who will be missed. My condolences at this loss. Klaus Collinsworth, (San Antonio TX)

I had the distinguished honor of serving with Bill in Budingen, Germany in the early nineteen sixties. I will hold his memory in my own heart until the day we are reunited for all eternity. Rest in peace my friend. My deepest sympathy and condolences to all Bill's family and friends. May God richly bless each of you.
