Gerald Mann Obituary
He was born March 13, 1945, to the late William A.J. Mann and Dorothy Louise Peavy Mann.
Gerald was a member of Fields of the Wood Church of God of Prophecy, where he retired from ministry. He was a faithful minister of God's Word to many congregations for over 48 years.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He worked for more than 60 years as a drywall finisher.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Lynda Mann; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Mary Mann and Scott and Linda Mann; granddaughter, Kristy Mann; great-grandchildren, Adan Hickey and Melody Hickey; brother Ricky Mann; sister, Barbara Cooper; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 6, 2024, at 2 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel. Scott Mann, Jerry Morrow, and Kathy Jones officiated. Music was provided by Janice Reid. Interment followed in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family visited with friends at the funeral home Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
