Jerry Anderson Obituary
Born October 10, 1954, in Copperhill, he was the son of the late AD Anderson and Jean Alice Dale Anderson. Jerry worked for many years at St. Phillips Tug Towing Company in Tampa, Florida, serving as a tugboat engineer.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; AD and Jean Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Allene Anderson; son, Zachary Anderson; siblings, Doris McNelley, Sharon (Chris) Conoley, and Aaron (Rhonda) Anderson; numerous extended relatives, and dear friends.
Graveside services to honor the life of Mr. Anderson were held Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 4 p.m. from the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega, Georgia with the Rev. Randy Hooper officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Brian Garrett, Stanley Anderson, Kenny Anderson, and Chris Conoley. The family visited with friends at the Akins-Cobb Funerals and Cremations of Blue Ridge, Georgia on Sunday afternoon, October 26, 2025 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
