Claudie Hodges Obituary

Funeral services for Mr. Claudie E. Hodges, 82, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 11, 2010 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Hodges was born September 15, 1928 in Union Parish and passed away December 8, 2010 in West Monroe. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Mr. Hodges retired in 1988 from LP&L as a supervisor. After retirement Mr. and Mrs. Hodges hobby was genealogy research and they compiled 14 volumes of reference materials and recorded and published numerous cemeteries throughout northeast Louisiana.
He was preceded in by his wife, Betty Jo Bishop Hodges who passed away May 29, 1996; his parents; James Elbert Hodges and Birdie Louise Feazel; siblings, David Mitchell Hodges, Nellie L. Hodges, Ruby Leona Hodges, James Otis Hodges, Robert Arnold Hodges, Louis Oran Hodges, Oma Meri Hodges, Ona Pearl Hodges and Jessie Frank Hodges.
Mr. Hodges is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be fellow employees from LP&L/Entergy .
Visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
