Helen Kirkham Obituary
Helen Elizabeth Kirkham, age 91, originally from Olla, was born on December 5, 1925 and passed away from this life on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Arbor Lake Nursing Home in Farmerville, LA, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 4, 2016, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Olla with Bro. Todd Whittington officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Olla. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Johnnie Byrl Kirkham as well as granddaughter, Kayla Cranford, grandson, Chris Callender and great-grandson, Sean Dunn.
Survivors include a son, Mike Kirkham and wife Rosemary of Calhoun, three daughters: Pat Cranford and her husband Jimmy of West Monroe, Gail Rains and husband Ricky of Bossier and Penny Callender and husband Roy of Farmerville; eight grandchildren, Kitty Head, Joshua Cranford, Erin Gildon, Evan Dunn, Calder Dunn, Cathy Ruiz, Jade Brashear, and Jeff Callender; 3 step-grandchildren: Seth Rains, Richard Rains, and Kris Rains, and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Arbor Lake Nursing Home in Farmerville for the wonderful care they provided.
