Iley Evans Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. Iley K. Evans, 49, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 13, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Billy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Luna Methodist Church Cemetery West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Evans was born on December 16, 1966 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on June 10, 2016 at his residence in West Monroe, LA. He was a truck driver for many years; he loved spending time with his dog, Crystal and also working with leather. During his college days, Kevin worked as a DJ for the campus radio station. Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Iley H. Evans, Jr. and his brother, Herman Lee Evans.
Survivors include his mother, Georgia Mae Telano Evans; daughter, Jasmine Cheyenne Evans and his sister, Beth Evans Perkins; along with numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Larry Dunn, Scott Parker, Casey Wayner, Tim Harper, Joe Craft, Josh McCready, Perry Thomas and Benji Owens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the Luna Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.

Jasmine, I am so sorry my baby. Your daddy loved you so much, he was your best friend and your biggest fan, You were everything to him, always hold that love in your heart. I will miss him so much. If ever you need me for anything at all, to talk, to laugh or even to cry, always know im close by, just a phone call away.
Kevin, my dear friend and most loyal confidant, my heart hurts ... i write words to you here and i delete them because no words can say what you meant to me. You have been here for me my whole life, no matter how much time had passed, we could pick right back up where we left off at, spending hours and hours of talking and catching up ,lol. I will miss that cowboy hat, that crooked smile and the laughter and jokes.. you always had jokes my buddy. I cant seem to find it in me to say goodbye to you so i guess ill see ya later. Fly high Cowboy. I love ya!!
