My recollection of Dale goes back to his work with Edwin Edwards in Congress and forward to all of the things that he did after and to his first days at LSU. He was a remarkable man, inventive, a leader and a survivor. May God bless him and his family. Armand Brinkhaus, Louisiana Legislature..1968-1996.

My friend in BR called to tell me of Dale's death and it doesn't seem right, but I had been thinking of him every day for the last few weeks and wondered why ... after all the years since we were married. Know that he was still special in my memories. My sympathies are with the friends and family who will mourn his loss.
