Tucker Thompson Obituary
Funeral services for Tucker Wayne Thompson, 18, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday September 15, 2011 at the Liberty Grove Church of God in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Raymond L. Jones and Rev. Larry Roy officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Tucker died September 11, 2011 at his residence.
Tucker was a member of the Liberty Grove Church of God in West Monroe. He was a senior at West Monroe High School, where he was a former member of the ROTC. He was a member of the Ouachita Valley Boy Scouts. Tucker loved the outdoors hunting and enjoyed writing short stories for his family.
Survivors: Father, Robert C. (Bobby) Thompson, Jr.; Mother and Step-father, Kimberly and Patrick Atchison; Sister, Morgan J. Thompson; Brother, Hayden J. Atchison; Maternal Grandmother, Cynthia Cascio; Maternal Grandfather and Step-Grandmother, Jerry and Diane Cascio; Paternal Grandfather and step-grandmother, Robert C. and Billie Thompson, Sr.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hughes, Louis Knighten, Chris Hollingsworth, Alex Parker, Andy Holcomb, Kenny Cichocki and Cliff Whitman.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Grove Church of God Youth Fund.

i was blessed to call tucker my friend. we went to riser jh together, but i moved and we didnt stay in touch. he will always be remember by those whom called him a friend as a true friend. he was compassionate and loving and it is my prayer tht the lord will give you his family comfort in knowing that god knew the deepest places of his heart and god was with him the last moment and will be with him forever.
