Joyce Morris Webb, 92, of Clarkesville, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Born on February 7, 1933, she dedicated over thirty years of her professional life to Ethicon, where her commitment and hard work earned her a well-respected reputation. Following her retirement, she continued her path of service as an administrative assistant to the President of Piedmont College.
Joyce was a person of many interests and passions. She had a profound love for her two cats and was an avid collector of antiques with a particular fondness for knick-knacks, clocks, and Santas. Known for her culinary skills, Joyce was a great cook and baker, taking joy in entertaining friends and family with lavish meals that created cherished memories. Joyce loved to square dance and hike, helping her to remain active and spend time with those she loved. She also enjoyed reading and listening to music.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Cecil W. Webb; her sons, Steven Cecil Webb and Sanford Kevin Webb; and her brother, Emory Vance Morris, Jr.
She is survived by her grandson, Eric Webb, and his wife, Ashley; along with her great-grandchildren Bailey Webb and Easton Webb.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A funeral service was held in McGahee-Griffin and McEntire chapel on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. Interment followed the service at Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Joyce Morris Webb will be remembered for her warmth, her love for family, and the lasting impressions she left on the lives she touched.
