Judy Coley Stephens, 77, of Demorest, Georgia, took her heavenly flight home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Born in Gainesville, Georgia on January 17, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Noah Wilson and Verdie Ethel Davis Coley.
Judy lived her life as a devoted Christian woman whose faith shone brightly in all she did. She enjoyed a long career as an office manager before retiring, and she was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. Judy was of the Baptist faith and found great comfort in her walk with the Lord.
In her spare time, she found joy in cooking, reading, and working crossword puzzles. She especially loved trips to the beach, where she felt peace and happiness. Above all, Judy treasured her family. They were her greatest blessing, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Eden Vandora Stephens; brothers, Gary Coley and Jack Coley; and sisters, Martha Sue Coley and Ethel Harris. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 54 years, Garnett Stephens; daughter, Cynthia Stephens; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Tonya Stephens; grandchildren, Griff Allison, Noah Stephens, and Eva Stephens; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of dear friends.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2025, at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Connie Berry and Bro. Noah Stephens officiating.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday.
