Gordon Ruedinger Obituary
Gordon Ruedinger, 81, of Oshkosh, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Oakwood Manor. He was born August 25, 1931, in Fond du lac, the son of Edmond and Arloa Apker Ruedinger. He worked as a Machinist at Bell Machine and Rockwell Int.
Gordon married Margaret F Remer Oct 4, 1952, who preceded Gordon in death on May 19, 1985. He then married Coralie Bedore Nov 12, 1988. He is survived by his wife along with her children and grandchildren. He is further survived by his sons, Steve (Peggy), Oshkosh; David (Janelle), Omro; Gary (Lori), De Pere; along with daughter, Diane (Brian) Blank, Phelps; grandchildren Katie (Joshua) Kuhn, Oshkosh; Meagan Blank, Oregon; Leah, Minnesota; Kevin (Rachel), North Carolina; Kyle, Oshkosh; Zach, Madison; Sam, Minnesota; Chris Blank, Missouri; and great-grandchild, Madelynn Kate Kuhn, Oshkosh. He is further survived by brothers, Paul (Delores) Van Dyne; Bill (Bea), Oshkosh; Don (Marella), Michigan; Doug (Shirley), South Carolina; sisters, Arloa (Bill) Steineke, Cedarburg; Ramona (James) White, Suamico; Carol Gilsdorf, De Pere. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; brother, Jim; and three infant children, Terry, Tommy and Kevin.
The family wishes to express appreciation to the staff at Oakwood Manor for their outstanding dedicated and professional care, where he resided since May of 2012. We also appreciate the skill and dedication from Heartland Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations to Oakwood Manor as well as Hartland Hospice will be appreciated. Services will be held at Fiss and Bills/Poklasny Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2013, with Fr Dan Felton officiating. Friends may call on the family from 9 AM Saturday until the time of services. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Gordon you will be missed by many especially your brothers and sisters. I had the privilage of visiting with all of them when they made their family get togethers at my fathers home in Van Dyne. When I would stop by they aways talked of how close they were as a family and shared many memorable times of past and present. the Ruedinger Legacy will always remain very special in the hearts of all of us. God Bless the family of Gordon Ruedinger.

I have known Gordon a long time, when he started dating my beloved Aunt Corky and later married her. He was always sweet to me and could be quite funny. We had a lot of good times together. He was part of my family and I shall miss him deeply.

I will remember Gordon for his love of striped cookies and always wanting a piece of gum to chew on. He was a wonderful person to get to know and he will be deeply missed. My sincerest sympathies to his family and loved ones during this time.
