Michael Jon Berger, born on May 25, 1967, died suddenly at his home in Pine River, Wi. on Friday February 20, 2015. He married Kerry Pomerville on December 12, 1992. He moved to his home in Pine River because he was so used to spending much of his time in that area, and he truly loved it. His house was across the street from his families woods.

He was an avid hunter and loved to go trout fishing on the Pine River, he always fished (catch and release). Whenever he kept a trout the next one had to be bigger in order to keep it.

Mike was employed for 27 years at Hoffmaster in Oshkosh. He did some traveling to see the latest in machines and to become acquainted and trained with the flexograph printing. He was very proud to show his knowledge of the new machines, he loved all sports especially the Brewers and the Packers. He also enjoyed golfing.

He is survived by Kerry L. Berger, his beloved children Gabrielle (Troy) and Joshua, and his mother Nancy Berger, his brothers Steven R. Berger (Jeri Lyn) and Andrew J. Berger. He is further survived by his Uncles Roy (Karen) Hinn, Richard (Robin) Hinn, Frank (Deb) Berger, Bruce (Pat) Berger, and Jim (Kris) Berger, of his many cousins he spent time outdoors with Brad, Brian and Jeff. He is also survived by his sister's husband Michael Grunske, nieces and nephews Bridget Berger, Anna Berger, Sophia Berger, Jacob Grunske, and Adam Grunske.

He is preceded in death by his father Steven G. Berger, his sister Shelly Lynn Berger Grunske, grandparents Roy and Letha Hinn, Frank and Dorothy Berger and Uncles Gary Hinn and Jackie Berger.

Services will be held at 5:00 pm at Martin Luther Church in Oshkosh on Monday February 23, 2015, where Mike was baptized, confirmed, and married. Visitation will be at the church from 2 pm until the time of the service. Inurnment services will be held at a later date

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his honor.
