Norman Harold Schruck

Wautoma - Norman Harold Schruck, age 73 of rural Wautoma, Town of Marion, passed away suddenly Thursday morning, October 18, 2018 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Berlin. He had been in failing health.

Norman was born July 22, 1945 in Wautoma, a son of Harold Joseph and Virginia Mae (Blackburn) Schruck. He married Edith Ann Leach in Hancock July 26, 1969. Edith Ann, his wife of 49 years survives.

Norman had worked as a fork lift operator at the Berlin Foundry for 45 years until his retirement 8 years ago at age 65. He also was a pig and cattle farmer in the Town of Marion.

He enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, watching wildlife, feeding and watching birds, especially humming birds. Most of all, he loved his family, and playing with his grand babys.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Ann; 2 daughters, Joann Schruck of rural Wautoma, and Jane (Eugene) Gombos of Wautoma; 2 grandchildren, Wyatt and Kaiser Gombos; 2 brothers, Harold "Butch" Schruck, Jr. of Upson, WI, and Edwin Chester (Mary) Schruck of Wautoma; a sister, Marcella Putzkie of Berlin; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many good friends.

Memorial Services for Norman H. Schruck will be held Friday, October 26th. at 3:00 P.M. at the World War II Memorial Building, Highways 21 & 22 in Wautoma. Mr. Tim Topping will be the Presider. Following the Memorial Services, Norman will be laid to rest on the family plot in the Marion (Leach Corners) Cemetery in the Township of Marion. Relatives and friends may call at the World War II Memorial Building from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Friday, one hour prior to the time of Services.

Should relatives and friends desire, Memorials will be appreciated in Norman's memory.
