Thomas Bloch Obituary
Thomas E. Bloch, age 71, of Amherst, WI, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015, at his home.
Thomas was born February 13, 1944, in Ripon, the son of Edward and Anita (Lieske) Bloch. He graduated from Ripon High School. Thomas married Mary Jo Kuehn October 3, 1964, in Ripon. Thomas worked 48 years in the automotive industry as a machinist, auto parts and tools salesman, and owned his own gas station. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, the Central Wisconsin Tractor Club and he attended Peace Lutheran Church in Amherst.
Survivors include his sons, William (Stacy) Bloch and their three daughters Maddie, Ellie and Katie of Scandinavia, WI, and Robert (Brenda) Bloch of Madison, WI; his daughter Rebecca "Becky" (Steve) Galvin and their children Kelly and Michael of Stevens Point, WI; one great granddaughter, Isabella Tepp of Stevens Point, WI, and his brother David (Lucy) Bloch of Ripon, WI. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anita Bloch and his wife, Mary Jo Bloch.
Visitation for Thomas E. Bloch will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, from 9 - 11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Thomas E. Bloch will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Pastor Dwight Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow at Loper Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established.
