Bill and I were so saddened to hear about Bryston. We haven't seen him for a long time, but still remember him running around the Livonia Ward as a young boy. He looks so handsome in his Air Force uniform. It sounds like he has had a nice career in the Air Force, and as a firefighter. We were also happy to hear about his sweet wife and children. Bryston was one of the best people that I have ever known. He was an outstanding Federal Fire Fighter, Inspector, and EMT. He was my partner and close friend here in Ft. Bragg, NC. He always made people laugh and never hesitated to help someone out. He had an old soul and a heart of gold. He will be truly, truly missed. The light of this world is dimmer without him.

I was so sad to hear this news today. Bryston and Jason were such good friends growing up together. We are so sorry for your loss. I wish that we were in Michigan so that we could attend the funeral. Chris, G.L. and Jennirey, I am sorry to hear of your loss. While I have not kept in touch with your family for many years, I wanted to share a memory. I once walked into the family home in Redford to see Bryston playing a toy guitar and singing all of the word's to "Under The Sea" along with Sebastian on The Little Mermaid Video. He was 5 or 6 and showed definite potential talent. It still makes me smile to think of his enthusiasm. Hang on to the good memories until you are together again.
