Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine Dietz; dear sister of Norman (Frances) Dietz, Lester (Carla) Dietz, Larry (Nanette) Dietz, Cheryl (George) Baum, Nancy (Michael) Adams, Arleen (Bryan) O'Nail, Susan (Scott) Nedwick, Jacqueline (Patrick) Campbell, Edward (Kathleen) Dietz, Geni (Neil) Balfour, and Michael Dietz; also cherished by many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 3, 2012, 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 80 South Lynn Street, Waterford. Celebrant Father Larry Siroskey. The family will receive friends Sunday 1 to 6 p.m. at the RIVERSIDE CHAPEL, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford and at the church on Monday after 10 a.m. Rosary Sunday 4 p.m. Rite of Committal Ottawa Park Cemetery. Chris was one of the first girls in Waterford to play baseball. She pitched and played the infield when she was 11. She was one of the most gifted athletes I have ever seen. I eventually coached three Dietz children. My condolences go out to the Dietz family.
