Constant Van Proeyen Obituary

VAN PROEYEN, CONSTANT; age 94, formerly of Troy; passed away January 9, 2011; at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac, MI. He was born December 26, 1916 in Zwijndrecht, Belgium. He married Stella Koscinska October 5, 1940 in Detroit, MI. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2002 in Tarpon Springs, FL. Dear father of three daughters, Diane (Alan) Pedlow, Kathleen (Michael) Donoghue, and Constance (Eric) Jewell; loving grandfather of Lisa, James and Jason; and eight great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.

i am so sorry to hear about Connie's father's passing. [and her mother is gone too, i see.] Connie was a good friend of mine when we were young teenagers when we were both living and going to school in Royal Oak, Mi. i have many fond memories of that time and have been thinking of her lately for some reason. Both of my parents passed away in 1997. i send many heart felt condolences during this very challenging time.
