Emma Gene Rayner

RAYNER, EMMA GENE; of Pontiac; died August 12, 2013. She was 87. Born March 12, 1926 in Wellsville, Ohio to the late Charles B. and Sarelda Irene (nee: Hilton) Archer. She is survived by 8 children, Albert W. (Mary) Rayner, Ronald H. (Cathy) Rayner, Jeanne A. (James) Watt, Glenden R. Rayner, Marcia L. (William) Green, Alicia K. Pote, Thomas C. (Rebecca) Rayner and John A. (Beth) Rayner; two sisters, Bettie (the late John) Johnson and Anna Venos; also survived by 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and one on the way. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Rayner; one daughter, baby Elizabeth Rayner; and one brother, Charles Archer. Mrs. Rayner was a secretary for Pontiac Schools and a longtime member of All Saints Episcopal Church (171 W. Pike St., Pontiac) where her Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday from 3 to 6 and 7 to 9 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME - WATERFORD. Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church or Mercy Hospice.
