Janet Lynn Heuerman

1931 - 2018

Heuerman, Janet Lynn 86, died peacefully February 28, 2018 at her home in Rochester Hills MI. She was born July, 10 1931 in Toledo Ohio. She is survived by her husband Ralph, sons Kurt (Barb), Karl (Elise), and her three grandchildren, Jen, Andrew, and McKenzie. Janet attended Michigan State University where she received a teaching degree which allowed her to obtain a position to teach in the Rochester Hills Community Schools, where she taught for over 30 years. She was very active in the Rochester community through many groups and organizations including the Rochester community house, Avon Players, volunteering at Crittendon Hospital, AAUW, Questors group, Crittenton Auxiliary Board and Meadow Brook Woman's Club to name a few. Janet offered and volunteered her services throughout the Rochester Community. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, cooking, traveling, and all types of crafting. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 4th at Oakmont of Rochester 3434 South Blvd. Rochester Hills from 2-6 PM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Rochester Community House.
