I am so sorry for your loss. Marie was such a wonderful woman and I enjoyed working with her at Pine Knob Elementary. Marie always took excellent care of our kindergarten kids. She has been missed here at school since she retired. May your happy memories sustain you all during this difficult time.

So sorry to see this. Mrs. Roy was one of our Kid's Connection ladies at PKE and she was great! We even visited on occasion after my daughter went to middle school and beyond.

I lived next door to the Roy family. Marie was a second Mother to my sister and I. She babysat us, came to our birthday parties, first communion, and my Wedding. She took us shopping, swimming and to watch the fireworks. She always had a smile and made everyone feel loved. She had a constant unwavering love for her friends, family, the boys(numerous athletes at school) and neighbors. Everyone you babysat, kids from school, friends of Jon, Joe and Tony, your Sons, Husband, large extended family, Brother, Friends and the Clarkston community will all miss you. Especially me. Love you Marie.

Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are. You have been a friend of our family since I was a kid and so many of my favorite memories of my parents, include you and Marie.
Marie will always be considered one of the founders of the Clarkston Schools childcare program and someone who helped make that program what it is today.
