Rest peacefully my friend. You leave some unfinished business behind, but you can be comforted to know that you leave some very good friends who will see to it that it gets done right in your absence.

Ron and Rita were two of my favorite people. They were part of the ministry at Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ortonville where I served as pastor. Over the years Ron blessed me with his kindness and compassion and often gave me little gifts, things that I will always treasure. I am praying for your family as you remember this wonderful man, prayers for peace and comfort that come from God.

It was my privilege to know Ron at Christ The Shepherd Church in Ortonville. We spent many Sundays together over breakfast after church. We also visited him at his home and apartment in Pontiac. He was a fine man and a good friend. He worked so hard on his bible study meetings and loved to tell us about them. His faith was very strong and he gave me some of his sermons to read which were very interesting and a testament to his relationship with God.

Ron was a neat dude. I got to know him at church in Ortonville. He & Rita were devout Christian folks. Just good, down to earth sort of people.

In loving memory of Uncle Ronnie. May the love of family help you find support at this time. I am sorry that I haven't been there to help in the past year or more.
I remember his car models and his voice. In the past decade or more, I have also been impressed with his faith sharing / preaching and Bible Studies. When I learned of his ministry I realized that the "vocation of spreading The Good News" really is in the family, how reassuring!
