GOFORTH (nee HODGE) SANDRA MAY “SANDY” Of Waterford; September 12, 2016; born July 6, 1941; age 75. Wife of the late Barney W. Goforth and special friend of the late Kenneth Darling. Mother of Deaonna Mills, Candy Lee (Duane) and Scott Goforth (Tina); grandmother of Michael, Jackie (Johnny), Sam (Michael), Josh, Jelly, Scott Jr., Nate, Izzy and Mia; great grandmother of Faith, Johnny 5, Katelyn May, Brendan and Lanikai; sister of Gary, Terry , Richard (Sharon), Kevin (Tee) and Kathy (Gary D); best friend of Darlene. Preceded in death by her parents Earl and Rosemary Hodge (nee Fitch). Sandy was a lifetime member of the Waterford Senior Center and loved bingo, euchre and shopping. She had a big heart and was referred to by many as mom or g ma; Sandy’s favorite past time was going to eat with her family. A memorial celebration of Sandy’s life will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016, 2 p.m. at Columbia Ave. Baptist Church 64 W. Columbia Ave. Pontiac Mi. 48340. The family will receive friends 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Officiated by Pastor Brad Adams. Please wear Purple, Red, Orange or Black as these were her favorite colors.
