Grief, I´ve learned, is really just love. It´s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go. The absence of an outlet for our love is not all there is to grief. We miss the things the other person gave us-the support, the humor. We are saddened for them and want them to enjoy life for a little longer-Jamie Anderson

Tonya, I know heaven is a glorious place. But I wish you were here on earth. I know God sends us to earth for a season, until our assignment is over. Then He receives us back home, in heaven, to live with Him. Our days are numbered. Our times are in God´s hands.

To the Family: Our Times Are In God's Hands.
One thing I know, death cannot kill love, and hands cannot bury it. Tonya is in the Master's Arms and all is well with her soul. It is ok to cry. But don't mourn too long. Be happy for her. She is exactly where she has always wanted to be. She is home. Heaven is a glorious place. She is healed. She is whole. She is happy. If Tonya could talk to you, she would tell you, “It was time for me to go. My assignment was over. I fought a good fight. I kept the faith. I finished my course. Don't worry about forgetting me. I will always live in your hearts. This is not goodbye and this is not the end. I love you.”
Tonya We Will Miss Your Presence Here On Earth! None of us are ready to let you go. We are going to miss your beautiful smile, the sound of your laughter, and the sweet smell of your perfume.

To the Outlaw Family....
Tanya was a great mentor at St. Joes. I first met Tanya on 3w when I started on that floor to orientate as a HUC. We moved over to 3G and I think she really was 'The Boss' of that floor. She knew everything and everyone who worked there, knew it. Everyone asked Tanya. I had always seen Tanya around the hospital, after she had left and found her new home on 2 North. She was such a spirit to everyone around her and was willing to help anyone. She will be greatly missed at SJMH-O. Her beatiful smile will remain in my memory for a long time.....
