He enjoyed spending his time with his 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, family and friends. Whether it was dancing to" In the Mood" or playing cards you knew he enjoyed life. He started working in the Timber industry when he was 13 running a yarder for Camus Logging Co. He also worked for Camus & Tobin Logging, Pacific Lumber and Shipping, Port of Olympia sort yard, Kings Logging and retired from Cascade West Lumber Mill.

From the yard at Cascade West Forest Products, we all called him Abner. Ab was a very likable person and very approachable. With his own style of wit, he always left me with a smile and made the day go a little easier. It was a pleasure and honor to know him. As I speak for myself, I'm sure I speak for many others at the mill. He will be missed and the world could benefit from more people like him. Farewell "Abner" and God's peace be with you.

Ab always made me feel like family. I have many great memories of camping with him and the whole Camus family on the Humptulips River. We enjoyed visiting his RV when he came to Westport and crabbed off the dock. Will miss you and think of you often.

He was the best grandpa I ever had. He would always put a smile on my face. He will be missed so much by me but I will never forget him. I love him so much and I will never get rid of the pink box he built me. I love you Papa and I miss you more than anything.

He was the greatest grandfather anyone could ask for. The most loving and selfless man. He will be missed by all. I love you Grandpa and as I have told you several times in our games of Go Fish..."Go Catch a Big One" in heaven.
