Worked with Don in Real Estate at Bonneville Power Administration from1980 till 1984. Enjoyed coffee with Don frequently. Recall Don telling me about fighting forest fires while at DNR.

A great guy to work with. He helped teach me some of the ins and out of DNR timber sales and access issue when I started with the DNR in Menlo and throughout my career with the DNR which I left in 1976. l later worked on a Bonneville easement issue with Don when I was with Weyerhaeuser.

I knew Don when he worked in right of way acquisition in timber sales in the Olympia office for the Dept. of Natural Resources. Don was helpful in acquiring rights of way for timber sales in the Vancouver area. It just so happens that Don are the same age and I enlisted in USMC when Don enlisted in the army. May his soul Rest In Peace. Ken Herman
