Doug,
First off you were taken from this world way too soon, and i am sorry I could not make it today to say goodbye. I hope you know how much it meant to me playing soccer every weekend in high school and much it shaped me as a athlete on the field and a person off the field. I appreciate the time and effort you put into me. It can never be repaid. and those memories made on the pitch will never be forgotten.
You were an outstanding remodel to and I will always look at to the examples you set for me during my early adult hood. thank you for your time. thank you for always doing the right thing around me. and thank you for believing in me as a goal keeper and a human being. you and soccer got me out of some dark places a few times.
The world has lost a great father, son and friend. You will be missed and remembered by so many. may you rest in peace, we will see you on the other side someday. God's speed.
