Olympia, Washington - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Franklin R. Albertson, who departed this life on April 16, 2025, at the age of 91 in Olympia, Washington. Born on May 25, 1933, in Limestone Township, North Carolina, Franklin was a beloved person who worked hard throughout his life.
Franklin is survived by his devoted partner, Sherry Harrison, and his four daughters: Eva Marie Johnson, Denise Lynne Heryford, Sue Ellen Brooks, and Jennifer Ann Albertson. He will also be fondly remembered by Dennis Taylor, Sr., Jeff Wirhol, and Bill Heryford. He was a loving father and a proud grandfather, leaving behind eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Franklin was preceded in death by his first wife, Clara May Madden, and his second wife, Eleanore Albertson. He also mourned the loss of his parents, William Bryant Albertson and Clara Belle Albertson, as well as his siblings: Lucy Albertson, Thurman Albertson, Nettie M. Gideons, and Rachel Miller. Their memories remained close to his heart.
In honor of Franklin's life and legacy, a ceremony will be held on May 4, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Masonic Memorial Park, located at 455 North St SE, Tumwater, Washington. Family and friends are welcome to join us in celebrating the life of a remarkable individual whose spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Daddy played his guitar and sang to his 4 daughters when we were young kids. He taught us numerous old country tumes. Best of memories.
